Ready to make a real impact in a classroom this September? Hays Education is working with a range of fantastic secondary schools looking for confident, committed Behaviour Teaching Assistants to support teachers and help students thrive.
You’ll be the calm, steady presence in the room - supporting learning, encouraging positive behaviour, and helping young people stay on track. If you’ve already worked as a TA in a school setting, you’ll know exactly how rewarding (and lively) this role can be.
What you’ll be doing:
*Supporting teachers in managing behaviour and engagement
*Working 1:1 or with small groups to keep students focused
*Helping create a positive, structured learning environment
*Building strong relationships with pupils who need that extra encouragement
What we’re looking for:
*Previous TA experience in a school (essential)
*Confidence in behaviour management
*A patient, resilient, team-focused approach
*Someone who genuinely enjoys supporting young people
