We are currently recruiting a Primary School Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Gillingham. This is an immediate start opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic TA, ideally with SEN experience.
The Role
*Supporting pupils in class on a 1:1 and small group basis
*Assisting children with additional needs (including SEN) to access learning
*Supporting the teacher with classroom activities and behaviour management
*Helping to create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
Ideal Candidate
*Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
*SEN experience (highly desirable)
*Holds a current DBS on the Update Service (essential)
*Patient, nurturing, and adaptable
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
