KS3 TeacherProspero Teaching is recruiting two KS3 Teachers with Primary QTS to join a specialist secondary school in the Farnborough area from September. The school supports pupils with moderate learning difficulties (MLD) and provides a structured, nurturing environment tailored to individual needs.
Primary-trained teachers often thrive in this setting, as their experience supporting early learners, delivering a broad curriculum, and building strong foundations makes them particularly well suited to helping KS3 pupils with MLD transition successfully into secondary education. The Role:*Teach a broad KS3 curriculum
*Support pupils with MLD during the transition into secondary education
*Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs
*Deliver structured, engaging lessons across subjects
*Support emotional regulation and classroom routines
*Track and assess pupil progress
*Work closely with support staff and SEN teams
*Follow safeguarding and school policies consistently
Ideal Candidate:*Holds Primary Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching KS2 or KS3 pupils
*Confident supporting pupils with additional learning needs
*Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
*Patient, nurturing, and adaptable teaching approach
*Comfortable delivering a broad curriculum
*ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged to apply
