Academics are looking for several Welsh primary school teachers to join supportive primary schools on a long-term basis in Cardiff. Your main responsibility will be to deliver engaging and creative lessons though the medium of Welsh whilst upholding a positive learning environment where pupils can achieve optimal learning. This a great opportunity for NQTs and experienced teachers. Although Academics are an agency and these roles are initially temporary, schools are looking to hire on a permanent basis pending a suitable fit for both parties. These Welsh Primary Teacher roles start after May half-term (June 1st 2026).

Responsibilities as a Welsh Primary Teacher
*Plan and deliver effective schemes of work.
*Establish relationships with pupils quickly.
*Use regular assessments to monitor pupil progress.
Required Qualifications and Requirements for a Welsh Primary Teacher
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Valid DBS (Can be produced through us)
*Registered with the Education Workforce Council (Can be produced through us).
Desirable Skills/Attributes for a Welsh Primary Teacher
*Full driving licence and have access to a car
*You in in or near Cardiff.
