Full job descriptionTradewind Recruitrment are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Computer Science Teacher to join our thriving independent girls’ school in Wimbledon from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young learners and foster a passion for technology and digital skills in a supportive and high-achieving environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured Computer Science lessons to Key Stage 3 students. The successful candidate will help develop pupils’ confidence in computational thinking, programming, and digital literacy, while contributing to a dynamic and forward-thinking department.
Key Responsibilities
*Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to KS3 pupils
*Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
*Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
*Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
*Support the wider pastoral and co-curricular life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
*A degree in Computer Science or a related subject
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (desirable)
*Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 (or strong subject knowledge with teaching potential)
*A passion for education and inspiring young women in STEM
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
