A well-regarded and inclusive school in Newbury is seeking an SEN Teacher to join their team immediately. The school supports pupils with a range of complex needs, including autism, moderate learning difficulties, and other SEN requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to use your expertise to deliver high-quality, personalised teaching in a nurturing and structured environment.
Role responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SEN
*Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to inform learning strategies
*Create a positive, calm, and supportive classroom environment
*Work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure pupils achieve their potential
*Adapt the curriculum to meet the specific learning needs of each student
The ideal candidate will hold UK Qualified Teacher Status and have experience working with pupils with complex SEN, including ASD and moderate learning difficulties. Patience, resilience, and a commitment to helping every pupil thrive are essential.
