Specialist SEN Role Supporting Complex Needs - Available Immediately
A long-term opportunity has arisen for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, supporting pupils with a wide range of complex needs.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire is based in a highly specialised setting designed for pupils aged 11-19, featuring purpose-built facilities and a strong multi-disciplinary support team.
The Role at a Glance...
*Supporting pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties
*Assisting with personal care and hygiene routines
*Working alongside medical professionals and therapists
*Supporting students with conditions requiring PEG feeding and gastrostomy awareness
(training provided, if required)
Your Key Duties...
*Provide 1:1 and small group support
*Assist with mobility and personal care needs
*Aid implementation of EHCPs
*Encourage independence and communication skills
What You’ll Need
*Experience working with SEN, ideally complex needs
*Comfort in supporting hygiene and medical-related routines
*A calm, patient, and proactive approach
*Strong teamwork and communication skills
