Full job descriptionA high-growth, specialist business supporting major UK construction and infrastructure projects is looking to appoint a Financial Controller (or step-up candidate) to strengthen its finance function.
Operating in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, this is a hands-on role with real ownership across reporting, controls, and systems improvement.
The Role
Working closely with the CFO, you’ll take the lead on:
*Monthly management accounts and financial reporting
*Delivering clear, actionable insight to senior leadership
*Overseeing AR/AP in a high-transaction environment
*Strengthening financial controls and revenue processes
*Driving improvements across systems, reporting, and data accuracy
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
What We’re Looking For
*ACA / ACCA / CIMA (part or fully qualified)
*Strong management accounts and financial control experience
*Background in logistics, construction, manufacturing, or similar
*A systems and process mindset – someone who improves, not maintains
