Full job descriptionSEN Teaching Assistant – NE3, Newcastle
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the NE3 area of Newcastle. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with a range of additional needs and helping them thrive in a nurturing learning environment.
Key Details:
*Start Date: After May half term (Monday 1st June)
*Location: NE3, Newcastle
*Pay: £92–£110 per day (depending on experience)
The Role:
*Provide tailored support to pupils with a variety of special educational needs
*Work closely with teaching staff to deliver inclusive learning
*Support students both in and out of the classroom
Requirements:
*Proven experience working with children with additional needs
*A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
*Must hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Please note, the school may wish to meet candidates or arrange a trial day prior to the official start date.
