About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school based in the Preston (PR3) area. This full-time position involves providing 1:1 support for multiple children across KS1, helping them access learning and thrive in the classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver 1:1 SEN support for pupils across Key Stage 1.
*Assist with personalised learning strategies tailored to individual needs.
*Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement support plans.
*Promote a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
*Encourage engagement, independence and emotional wellbeing.
Essential Requirements*Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
*A patient, empathetic and resilient approach to working with young learners.
*Ability to adapt support strategies to meet a range of needs.
Desirable ExperienceExperience working with children with:
*Autism (ASC)
*ADHD
*Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
