Your new role
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Support students with a range of special educational needs (SEN) including autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs
*Assist the class teacher with delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
*Provide 1:1 or small group support tailored to individual student needs
*Help manage behaviour in line with the school’s policies
*Promote a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment
What you’ll need to succeed
*Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
*Understanding of additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or complex needs
*A calm, patient, and resilient approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Flexibility and reliability for supply work
*A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
