Full job descriptionSenior Finance Business Partner
Location: London (hybrid - 2-3 days in the office)
Robert Half is partnering with a global mining and commodities business to appoint a Senior Finance Business Partner into its UK team. This is a high-profile, commercially focused role within a complex, international environment, supporting senior stakeholders across sales and trading.
This is a replacement hire, offering strong visibility, autonomy and the opportunity to operate at the heart of a global natural resources organisation.
The Role*Act as the senior finance partner to UK-based commercial stakeholders, particularly sales and trading
*Own budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, including budget vs actuals
*Provide commercial insight and challenge to support decision-making
*Deliver IFRS-aligned reporting within a global finance structure
*Support month-end and group reporting processes
*Work closely with an international finance team across the UK, Asia and Southern Africa
*Opportunity to take on line management responsibility over time
The Ideal Candidate*ACA qualified, trained in practice, with 3-5 years’ post-qualified experience in industry
*Strong grounding in IFRS reporting working within the group function
*Proven experience partnering with commercial stakeholders
*Comfortable operating autonomously in a senior, business-facing role
*Exposure to commodities, mining or a complex global environment is advantageous but not essential
Working Environment*Hybrid working model (minimum 2-3 days in the office)
*Structured, well-governed business with strong processes and controls
*Collaborative, commercial culture with exposure to senior decision-makers
