Full job descriptionThe Payroll Manager will oversee payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing for employees within the property industry. Description
*Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
*Maintain payroll records and ensure timely payments to all employees.
*Process statutory payments, including sick pay, maternity pay, and pensions.
*Handle payroll queries and provide guidance to employees on payroll-related matters.
*Collaborate with the accounting & finance team to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation.
*Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to internal and external stakeholders.
*Ensure compliance with all tax and legislative requirements within the payroll function.
*Identify opportunities for process improvements within payroll operations.
Profile
A successful Payroll Manager should have:
*Proven expertise in large payroll headcount on monthly and fortnightly basis.
*Proven experience of managing a team.
*Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and tax compliance.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Strong communication skills to address employee queries effectively.
*Happy to work in an office environment 5 days per week.
