Location: Glasgow City Centre | Hybrid Working
Hours: Full time, permanent (35 hours per week)
A highly regarded litigation practice is looking to add a Solicitor to its Road Traffic Personal Injury team in Glasgow. Applications are welcomed from Newly Qualified Solicitors through to those with up to 3 years’ PQE and second year trainees seeking to reassign will also be considered.
This role offers hands on exposure to litigation based personal injury work, with structured supervision and clear progression as experience grows. You’ll handle a varied caseload of road traffic accident claims and develop core skills in advocacy, litigation and client care within a collaborative and well supported team.

The role
Under appropriate supervision, you will:
*Manage a caseload of road traffic accident personal injury claims
*Deal with liability disputes and a range of injury types
*Draft, raise and progress Sheriff Court actions
*Assist with negotiations and settlement discussions
*Appear at hearings including case management and options hearings
*Develop advocacy and court skills through practical experience
*Work collaboratively on more complex cases when required
About you
This role would suit a Personal Injury Solicitor who:
*Is NQ to 3 years’ PQE, or a second year trainee seeking reassignment
*Has a genuine interest in litigation and personal injury work
*Is keen to build advocacy and court based experience
*Communicates clearly with clients and colleagues
*Is organised, proactive and motivated to learn
*Takes pride in delivering a high standard of client service
