Are you a nurturing, enthusiastic and imaginative EYFS teacher who loves helping young children thrive? Our lovely primary schools in the Chester-le-Street area are looking for a dedicated Early Years practitioner to inspire little learners as they begin their educational journey.
If you enjoy creating engaging early-years environments, shaping meaningful learning experiences and supporting children as they grow in confidence, this could be the perfect role for you.
Your Role Will Include:*Planning and delivering creative, play-based learning that encourages curiosity and exploration
*Teaching in line with the EYFS framework to support children’s holistic development
*Creating a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels safe and valued
*Observing and assessing children to track progress and identify next steps
*Supporting pupils with a range of abilities, including those with SEND
*Working closely with teaching assistants, families, and the wider school team
*Bringing positivity, patience and a genuine love for early years education
What We’re Looking For:You’ll be a great fit if you:
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Have recent experience teaching within EYFS
*Have strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and early years best practice
*Hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate or are happy to refresh it
*Are creative, caring and confident in early years routines and expectations
*Communicate clearly and warmly with children, staff and parents
*Hold (or can obtain) an enhanced DBS
*Are available to start as soon as possible

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
