We are seeking a committed and compassionate individual to join our team in a full-time Special Educational Needs (SEN) support position. This role is initially temporary, with a strong opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. Interviews are scheduled in the coming weeks.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
*Assisting in the delivery of tailored learning activities to enhance pupil engagement and participation.
*Encouraging positive engagement and participation in lessons.
*Supporting students’ social and emotional development.
*Working collaboratively with teaching staff and wider professionals to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
*A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to handling various educational scenarios.
Desirable:
*Previous experience working within SEN settings is highly advantageous but not essential.
