Location:
Predominantly remote (WFH) with flexible base across Nottingham, Birmingham or various UK locations, with occasional travel to sites across Wales.
Your new company
A leading Tier 1 contractor operating within the UK water sector is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a long-term framework with Welsh Water. This is a key appointment to support the delivery of multiple schemes as part of a secured programme of AMP work.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of projects across the Welsh Water framework, taking schemes from early design through to construction and completion.Key responsibilities will include:
*Managing multiple schemes concurrently across the full project lifecycle
*Driving projects from design phase through to delivery and handover
*Ensuring programme, cost and quality targets are achieved
*Leading project teams and coordinating internal and external stakeholders
*Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring framework compliance
*Ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are met across all sites
This role offers a high degree of flexibility, with the majority of work carried out remotely, supported by occasional site visits across Wales.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:
*Proven experience working within the UK water sector
*Previous experience on Dwr Cymru Welsh Water (DCWW) frameworks or similar
*Demonstrated experience managing multiple schemes simultaneously
*Strong experience delivering projects from design through to build
*Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
*Ability to work flexibly with travel to sites in Wales as required
