Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, independent kitchen retailer with a strong reputation for delivering tailored, high-spec kitchen solutions. They are seeking a motivated and personable Kitchen Sales Designer to join their showroom team in Crewe.
This is a varied, customer-focused role where you will manage the full sales and design lifecycle, from first consultation through to final installation. It offers a great opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a sales-driven environment, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
*Welcome and consult with customers in the showroom, identifying their requirements, preferences, and budget
*Carry out home/site visits to take accurate measurements and assess project scope
*Produce custom kitchen designs using design software (e.g. CAD, SketchUp or equivalent)
*Present design proposals clearly and confidently, converting enquiries into sales
*Oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring a seamless client journey
*Identify and maximise opportunities to upsell additional products and features
*Maintain detailed records of enquiries, quotations, and project updates
*Coordinate with suppliers, installers, and internal contacts to ensure smooth delivery
*Collaborate with leadership to improve sales processes and support promotional activity
*Keep up to date with industry trends, materials, and design innovations
About You
*Previous experience in kitchen design and sales is essential
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
*Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your pipeline
*Excellent communication skills with a consultative sales approach
*Proficient with relevant design software
*Numerically confident when producing quotations and measurements
*Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits is required
