Description
*Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments.
*Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
*Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
*Support the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory submissions.
*Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for the department.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation and records.
*Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
*Provide support during internal and external audits as required.
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
*Working towards a relevant finance qualification.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
*Experience in the Property industry would be advantageous but not essential.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team in an accounting & finance environment.
