A welcoming primary school in Middlesbrough is looking for a caring and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a nurture hub, helping them develop confidence, emotional regulation, and access to learning.
Start: September start!
Role: SEND Teaching Assistant
The Role*Support pupils with SEMH needs in a nurture hub setting
*Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and engagement
*Adapt activities to meet individual needs
*Work closely with the teacher and SENCO
*Support reintegration into mainstream where appropriate
We’re Looking For*Experience working with children (SEND/SEMH desirable)
*Patient, calm and nurturing approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Adaptable and proactive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
