Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? A warm and inclusive primary school in Reading is seeking a dedicated SEN TA to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to grow in confidence and achieve their full potential.
The Role
As an SEN TA, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored assistance for pupils with Special Educational Needs. The SEN TA will play an important role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment where pupils feel supported every day.
Key duties include:
*Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
*Assisting with personalised learning activities
*Adapting classroom resources to meet individual needs
*Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development
*Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals
About You
A successful SEN TA will be caring, patient, and proactive, with a genuine passion for helping children succeed. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships are essential for this role.
