We’re looking for an experienced PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 9-18 with PMLD, ASD, and complex physical needs in a specialist Southwark school.
Job Title: PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: London Borough of Southwark
Pay: £95-£105 per day
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
The Role - PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant*Support students aged 9-18 with PMLD, ASD & physical disabilities
*Provide 1:1 and small group support
*Deliver sensory-based learning activities
*Support communication (PECS, Makaton, AAC)
*Assist with personal care, feeding, and mobility (essential)
What we’re looking for*Experience as a PMLD SEN Teaching Assistant (or similar)
*Strong understanding of ASD, PMLD & complex needs
*Confident with personal care duties
*Calm, resilient, and hands-on approach
