Location: Enfield (Primary & Secondary SEN Schools)
Job Type: Full-Time (5 days a week), Long-Term / Temp to Perm
Start Date: ASAP
Role Overview
We are working with a range of SEN schools in Enfield (primary and secondary settings) who are looking for dedicated SEN Teachers to join their teams immediately.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people with additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities
*Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons tailored to individual learning needs
*Teach pupils across primary and/or secondary SEN settings depending on placement
*Adapt curriculum content to meet a wide range of additional needs and abilities
*Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
*Build positive, consistent relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress
*Use a range of strategies to support communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation
*Work closely with SEN support staff, therapists, and wider school teams
*Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress in line with school expectations
*Implement and follow EHCP targets and individual learning plans
*Support positive behaviour management strategies across the classroom
Candidate Requirements
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
*PGCE or equivalent training
*Experience or strong interest in SEN education (primary or secondary)
*Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills
*Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
*Commitment to inclusive education and supporting pupils with additional needs
*Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
