We are now looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated and multidisciplinary team in the Kingston region.
About the RoleYou will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse communication needs, including those with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. Working collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred interventions across both universal and specialist levels.
Key responsibilities include:
*Assessing and supporting students’ communication and swallowing needs
*Delivering individual and group therapy sessions
*Supporting the development of a "total communication" environment
*Providing guidance, training and coaching to staff
*Contributing to multidisciplinary working within Integrated Services
About YouWe are looking for a creative and passionate therapist who
*Holds a recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
*Is HCPC registered
*Has experience (or strong interest) in working with people with learning disabilities and/or autism
*Is committed to person-centred, functional, and innovative practice
*Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
