Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established care environment for a Chef to support the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals for residents, patients, and staff.
This role would suit a chef who enjoys producing well-balanced food in a structured kitchen environment, while working closely with a wider care and hospitality team.

Responsibilities as Chef*Prepare and cook meals in line with planned menus
*Deliver high standards of food quality, nutrition, and presentation
*Support stock control, deliveries, and food storage procedures
*Ensure stock rotation and minimise waste
*Train and support junior kitchen staff
*Maintain compliance with Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, and COSHH regulations
*Provide a professional and courteous service at all times
What We’re Looking For*NVQ Level 2 in Catering or equivalent preferred
*Previous experience within catering or care environments advantageous
*Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures
*Calm, professional, and organised approach
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Good communication skills and empathy towards older people
