Full job descriptionRG Consultancy are working with an excellent, established construction company based in Rawtenstall who are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller the Accounts Assistant would be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day accounting transactions are accurately recorded.
Duties include:
*Processing purchase invoices
*Working with job costing and accountancy software
*Dealing with subcontractors and the CIS scheme
*Process supplier payment runs - ensuring suppliers are paid on time
*Setting up new suppliers
*Daily bank postings and reconciliations
*Processing timesheets for the external accountants and inputting into job costing software
*Adhoc accounting duties as required
This Accounts Assistant role will offer the opportunity to get involved in all areas of accounts and support the Financial Controller. Experience working in accounts within the construction sector would be a great advantage.
