Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client, Brent Council, is seeking an agency Social Worker for its Children’s social care team.
This role will last 3 months initially, paid in line with London/DFE pay rates.

The role will involve the following:
*Court report writing
*Giving evidence in court.
*Managing court work from first to final hearing.
*Completing s.7 and 37 reports.
*Managing children on child protection plans and the Public Law Outline.
*Completing parenting assessments.
Requirements of the role:
*Qualified Social Worker
*Fully Social Work England registered
*3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
*Significant post-qualified experience of children’s social care social work
*Experience of child protection and court work
