Full job descriptionWe are currently hiring Secondary Teaching Assistants to support students across Prescot, Huyton, Kirkby, and Whiston as we enter the final Summer Term of 2026.
This is a high-impact period for Key Stage 3 and 4. Whether you are helping Year 7s settle into their secondary journey or providing vital exam-season support for Year 11s, your presence makes a difference. Joining us in May allows you to secure your spot for the remainder of the term and get a head start on long-term placements for September 2026.
Requirements:
*Previous experience in a school or similar environment.
*Strong communication, patience, and the ability to adapt to different learning needs.
*An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).

*Assist the teacher with administrative tasks and the display of student work.
*Lead interventions for students requiring extra help with literacy or numeracy.
