Location: Dukinfield
Our client, a long-established manufacturer based in Dukinfield, is looking to recruit a Production Operative to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis, with an immediate start available.
This is a hands-on role within a busy factory environment, involving machine operation and general production duties.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
*Operating production machinery, including mills, Barwell mixers and slitting machines
*Carrying out general factory and production operations
*Mixing and blending materials in line with production requirements
*Reading and following job instructions to ensure products meet quality and customer standards
*Cleaning tools, machinery and work areas, and maintaining tool boards
*Working safely at all times and reporting any unsafe conditions or faults to supervisors
*Using company equipment and materials responsibly
*Working to production targets set by the supervisor
*Maintaining high quality standards and minimising waste
*Keeping the workstation and surrounding area clean and organised
Working Hours:
*Monday to Thursday: 06:30 - 18:30
Physical Requirements:
*Ability to stand for long periods during the shift
*Use of stairs to access work areas when required
*Good balance and awareness when working around machinery, conveyors and forklifts
*Ability to bend, stoop, twist and reach as part of daily duties
*Capable of lifting up to 25kg when required
*Good hand-eye coordination
