Full job descriptionA well established Chartered financial planning firm is looking for a Financial Adviser to join its Shrewsbury office. This is a genuine new business role for someone who can convert opportunity into AUM, not a service seat looking after a ready made book.
The firm has multiple offices across the UK, with strong digital marketing generating a consistent flow of qualified inbound enquiries. The successful candidate will also inherit a small group of clients to provide a base, but the expectation is clear: this suits someone who is comfortable converting.
Top advisers in the business are earning up to £200,000, and the bonus structure is uncapped and genuinely exceptional for advisers who can write business.
What you’ll be doing
Converting new client relationships, with a target of around five new clients per month. Servicing a small inherited client bank to a high standard. Working closely with a dedicated paraplanner (1:1 ratio across the business) and a strong admin function. Developing your own referral network and pipeline alongside the inbound flow.
About You
Level 4 Diploma qualified as a minimum, Chartered or working towards Chartered preferred. A proven closer with a strong new business track record.

Basic salary £50,000 to £70,000 depending on experience and qualifications, negotiable for advisers bringing AUM. £8,000 car allowance. Exceptional bonus scheme. Private medical insurance, pension, and full back office support including paraplanning and compliance.
