Full job description Job Opportunity: Kitchen Assistants - Middlesbrough Area (Agency Work)
Berry Recruitment Darlington is currently registering agency kitchen assistants to cover temporary roles within schools in the Middlesbrough area.
These roles are as-required, ideal for candidates looking to top up their regular hours or seeking flexible part-time work.
Working Hours:
Typically 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, depending on the school’s requirements.
? Duties Include:
*Assisting with food preparation
*Serving meals to students and staff
*Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment
*Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
*Following food hygiene and safety procedures
*Supporting the cook or catering team as needed
Requirements:
*Previous kitchen or catering experience preferred
*Driving licence and own transport preferred but not essential
*Must hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service (£18/year)
- or be willing to pay £59.50 for a new Enhanced DBS
*Completion of online training:*Food Hygiene
*Safeguarding
*Keeping Children Safe in Education

Pay Rate:
£12.71 per hour, paid weekly in arrears via Berry Recruitment
