We are seeking a highly adept, capable, and experienced Bookkeeper to take responsibility for core financial processes within a regulated legal environment. This role requires a professional who is confident working within a structured setting and who values accuracy, accountability, and consistency in financial management.
This position shall suit an individual looking for a stable, long-term role where their expertise is relied upon and where they can further develop within a specialist and regulated sector. There are ample opportunities for development and progression for a driven individual.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining accurate purchase and sales ledgers
Performing bank reconciliations and financial postings
Processing invoices and payments with precision
Supporting month-end processes and financial reporting
Maintaining records using Xero
Supporting compliance with SRA Accounts Rules (training provided)
Candidate Profile
A formally qualified bookkeeping or accountancy professional (e.g. AAT, ICB or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role
A highly organised, detail-driven, and disciplined approach
Strong familiarity with accounting systems (experience with Xero preferred)
Professional, reliable, and capable of working with discretion
