Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5T Sweeper Driver to join a busy operational team in Charnwood. This is a hands-on role involving the driving and operation of specialist street sweeping vehicles to maintain cleanliness across public areas.
Key Responsibilities
*Drive and operate specialised street sweeping machinery
*Sweep designated road channels, footways, and public areas
*Remove debris, leaves, litter, and other waste
*Carry out bulky waste collections in line with contract requirements and specifications
*Lead a round to ensure the safe and efficient completion of daily operations
*Ensure compliance with fleet requirements, including accurately recording working hours, vehicle defects, and other compliance documentation
*Maintain all relevant licences and qualifications required for the role
What We’re Looking For
*Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement (7.5T)
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*A positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team
*Self-motivated and reliable
*Willingness to undertake further training as required
*Responsible for maintaining a valid driving licence and notifying of any changes (e.g. revocation)
