Job Title: SEN / SEMH Teacher
Location: New Malden
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and resilient Teacher to work within a specialist provision supporting students with Special Educational Needs, including SEMH, autism, and associated learning needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real impact by supporting pupils who require a structured, nurturing, and consistent approach to learning.
Key Responsibilities*Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
*Support pupils’ social, emotional, and mental health development
*Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
*Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff
*Contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and progress tracking
*Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Ideal Candidate*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience working with SEN and/or SEMH students
*Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
*Patient, adaptable, and emotionally resilient
*Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students
*Committed to inclusive and trauma-informed practice
