Bench IT are looking to onboard a Junior Support Engineer / L1.5 Engineer to support a global financial services organisation. This position would be ideal for a motivated candidate seeking to develop their career within the IT sector who has a strong desire to learn and develop their skills. The successful candidate should have the skills and experience included below;
*Experience in IT support or relevant internship Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience – Ideal experience would be 2-3 years
*Respond to IT service desk tickets
*Assist users via phone, email, or in-person
*Set up and maintain computers and peripherals Manage user accounts and passwords
*Support software installations and updates
*Ability to troubleshoot technical issues
*Good communication skills
*Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team
*Desirable skills/technology the client will provide training on;
*Proficient with Operating Systems (Windows 11/Windows Server) Microsoft 365: Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint & Integrated Apps Active Directory Users &
*Computers Laptop/Desktop builds and management
*Citrix: XenApp 7.x & Workspace/Receiver
*Zoom
*Mimecast
*iPhone configuration & management
*Polycom/Condeco Audio Visual management
