Job Description:
Full job descriptionA highly successful and growing business in York is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to cover an initial 12 month maternity leave that could lead to a permanent role.
To be considered you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and have significant experience of producing management accounts, ideally in a multi-entity environment along with the ability to mentor less experienced people in the team.
Key tasks involve:
*Leading on the production on monthly management accounts
*Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the Accounts ledgers
*Maintaining the fixed assets register
*Supporting with subsidiary accounts preparation
*Preparing and reviewing UK and EU VAT returns
*Supporting with systems implementation and process improvement
*Reconciliation of Payment Provider Accounts
*Recording and reconciling Credit Card and Employee expenses
*Financial Analysis and Performance Reporting (KPI Reporting)
*Cost Management
*Supporting with risk identification and mitigation
