This is a unique opportunity to work with students who require a more tailored and nurturing approach to education. You will deliver a broad, engaging curriculum across a range of non-core subjects, helping pupils re-engage with learning and build confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver creative and flexible lessons across multiple subjects (e.g. PSHE, life skills, vocational topics, arts, and enrichment)
*Support students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
*Build strong, positive relationships to encourage engagement and progress
*Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and external agencies
*Manage behaviour effectively using a trauma-informed approach
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Experience working with challenging behaviour or in alternative provision (desirable)
*Strong classroom management and adaptability
*A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people
