Teaching Assistant - Year 2 SEND Support
Tameside
Full-Time | Long-Term Position
A Primary School in Tameside is looking to appoint a committed and resilient Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis supporting a child in Year 2 with challenging behaviour and SEND needs.
This is a long-term opportunity for a confident and proactive individual who can build strong relationships and provide consistent support within the classroom environment.
The ideal candidate will:
*Have experience supporting children with SEND and challenging behaviour
*Ideally hold Team Teach Training
*Have a confident, friendly, and positive personality
*Be resilient and able to remain calm under pressure
*Work effectively alongside the class teacher and SENDCO
*Provide tailored support to help the child engage positively with learning
The school is seeking someone who is passionate about making a difference and can provide both academic and emotional support throughout the school day.
