Behaviour Mentor -
Location - North Manchester (M9)
Pay - £105-£120 per day, dependent on experience and responsibilities
Hours - Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm
Start Date - 18/05/2026
Are you a calm and resilient behaviour mentor seeking a new role? We are working with a nurturing SEMH provision in North Manchester to recruit an experienced behaviour mentor to join the team.
The school supports secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, offering a trauma-informed approach.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
*Be active and visible in the classroom, offering a relational approach that priorities safety and emotional regulation
*Build strong relationships that support engagement and progress
*Set clear boundaries and effectively manage behaviour
What we are looking for:
*Previous experience within a PRU or SEMH setting
*Team Teach Level 2 is highly desired, but training can be provided
*Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
*A genuine passion for supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
To be eligible you must:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
*Provide two professional child related references
