Stretford | Full-Time | ASAP Start
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a Primary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Stretford, who are looking to appoint a committed and resilient Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a full-time role to start ASAP and offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of vulnerable young people in a supportive and rewarding setting.
The Role:
*Supporting primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs both inside and outside the classroom
*Working closely with the class teacher and wider pastoral team
*Helping to manage behaviour positively and consistently
*Building strong relationships with pupils to support engagement and progress
*Supporting learning through tailored interventions and classroom activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*Have experience working with children with SEMH, behavioural needs, or additional needs
*Be calm, patient, and resilient
*Have strong behaviour management skills
*Be passionate about supporting vulnerable children
*Be able to build positive relationships quickly
*Hold a TA qualification or relevant experience (preferred but not essential)
