Location: Southampton
Job Type: Temporary (minimum 6 months)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00
Pay: Up to £19.50 per hour (depending on experience)
OverviewOur client, a well-established and forward-thinking manufacturing company, is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join their team initially for 6-months but with the possibility of extension. This is a key role within the business, supporting the production of high-quality components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities*Set and operate Mazak Integrex CNC machine tools
*Load, prove, and run CNC programs accurately
*Set cutting tools and establish tool and workpiece datums
*Monitor tool condition and carry out basic tool maintenance as required
*Perform self-inspection of finished components against engineering drawings and customer specifications
Requirements*Proven experience setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines
*Strong knowledge of Mazak / Mazatrol controls
*Confident interpreting engineering drawings and planning layouts
*High attention to detail with the ability to carry out self-inspection
*Proactive approach to problem-solving, tooling, and machine care
