Our client, a well-established main dealer based in Eastbourne, East Sussex, is actively looking to recruit a professional Service Advisor to join their busy service department. Duties of the Service Advisor:
*Greet customers and manage vehicle drop-offs and collections efficiently
*Accurately record customer requests and vehicle details
*Communicate effectively with workshop teams regarding job requirements
*Keep customers informed on vehicle status throughout the day
*Obtain authorisation for additional work and produce detailed estimates
*Prepare and present customer invoices and related paperwork
*Explain repair work and recommend additional services such as service plans and warranties
*Upsell relevant products and services to enhance customer satisfaction
*Maintain strong customer relationships to promote repeat business
Requirements for the Service Advisor:
*Proven experience working as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry
*IT literate; familiarity with DMS systems such as Pinnacle DMS is preferred but not essential
*Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Skilled in upselling and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
*Well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple customer appointments efficiently
*Full UK driving licence, preferably with a clean record
