OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR - Iver, Bucks

Salary: Up to £27,000 pa (Depending on experience)

Due to continued growth, our client in Iver is now looking for an organised, proactive and personable Office Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team. You’ll play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly, supporting senior management and ensuring company systems and documentation remain accurate, compliant and professionally maintained.


THE ROLE
Reporting to the Directors and Office Manager, you will provide comprehensive administrative and office support across the business. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same, making it ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking and working within a close-knit team environment.

You will be responsible for producing professional documentation, maintaining organised filing systems, supporting compliance processes and assisting with the day-to-day coordination of office operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES *Typing quotations, letters, risk assessments, method statements and sample reports
*Producing professional correspondence on behalf of the Directors and Management Team
*Maintaining and updating electronic and manual filing systems
*Creating new file records and assigning identification codes
*Retrieving and managing documentation in response to authorised requests
*Modifying and improving filing systems where required
*Conducting periodic file inspections to ensure accuracy and compliance
*Sorting and classifying documentation in line with company procedures
*Designing and maintaining forms linked to filing systems
*Managing incoming documentation and allocating correctly
*Applying for security clearance for staff on specific contracts
*Ordering uniforms for site staff and other employees as required, ensuring budgets are adhered to
*Assisting the Office Manager and Directors in maintaining Health & Safety compliance across the business
*Providing holiday and sickness cover within the office team
*General office administration including answering telephones, managing emails, scanning, filing and photocopying
Full training will be provided across all company systems and specialist software.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED *Previous administration experience in an office role (2 yrs +)
*Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
*Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
*Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
*Excellent written and spoken English
*Strong typing and document formatting abilities
*Professional and personable approach
*Comfortable working within a small, friendly office team
*Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
*Quick to learn new systems and processes
DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE *Sage experience
*Eque2 knowledge (training provided)
*Previous experience within a technical, compliance-led or service-based environment would be advantageous
WHAT’S ON OFFER? *Competitive salary up to £27,000 (full-time equivalent)
*35-hour working week - Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
*Flexible or negotiable hours for the right candidate
*30 days annual leave including bank holidays and Christmas shutdown
