Position: Teaching Assistant
Start Date: September
Pay: £1,851-£2,650 per month
An OFSTED ’Good’ school in Wandsworth is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team and develop valuable skills within the education sector, working within a mainstream classroom and supporting SEN students. The school provides a positive working environment, structured support from staff, and a strong commitment to pupil development and wellbeing.

The Teaching Assistant’s focus is on nurturing confident, independent learners who enjoy learning and thrive within a safe, secure, and stimulating environment where every child is valued as an individual.
Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:*Working with children aged 2-6 in both indoor and outdoor classes
*Supporting child-initiated learning
*Helping children with special educational needs
*Engaging with students through three different sessions throughout the day
*Treating children with respect and kindness as a Teaching Assistant
Job Requirements for a Teaching Assistant:*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
*Interest in working with children, specifically those with SEN
*Experience working in childcare, either informally or formally
*Right to work in the UK
Desirable:*An honours degree (preferably a 2:1 or above) or equivalent
