This role offers the chance to work closely with a diverse portfolio of SME clients, delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services while supporting the development of junior team members.

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services across a varied portfolio.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring all work is delivered accurately and within deadlines
*Preparing and submitting year-end accounts, Corporation Tax Computations, VAT Returns, and Confirmation Statements
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients
*Managing client expectations and leading closing meetings to finalise accounts
*Supporting, mentoring, and developing junior members of the team
*Assisting with the implementation of efficient workflows and process improvements
*Ensuring client files and compliance work meet high quality standards
*Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business
*Delivering professional and commercially focused client service at all times
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practice professional looking to take the next step within a progressive and expanding firm.
The successful candidate will be ACA, ACCA, or AAT qualified and will have gained strong experience within an accountancy practice environment.
Key requirements include:
*Previous experience within an accountancy practice is essential
*Experience managing or mentoring junior staff members

*Strong understanding of confidentiality and professional ethical standards
