About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 1 pupils for the summer term, starting on 1st June. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on young learners during a crucial stage of their development.
Key Responsibilities*Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
*Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning
*Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources
*Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
*Provide additional support for pupils with varying learning needs
*Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Requirements
*Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred)
*A good understanding of Key Stage 1 curriculum
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
*Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
