People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative to join our well-established client based in Tamworth.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, weekly pay and progression opportunities within a growing manufacturing environment.
This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Machine Setter, Production Operator or Warehouse Operative.
Rates of Pay:
• £14.00 per hour
Shifts:
• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 – 14:00 rotating weekly with 14:00 – 22:00
• 40 hours per week
• Training may initially take place on day shifts

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a Machine Operative, your duties will include:
• Running and operating cutting machinery
• Programming machines and ensuring products are aligned correctly
• Producing products to customer size specifications
• Sealing products into bags
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
• Following all health & safety procedures
• Supporting general warehouse and production duties when required
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Machine Operative you will need:
• Previous experience operating bag machines is essential
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Reliable and punctual attitude
• Positive approach to work
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Training Provided:
