Full job descriptionPurchase Ledger Clerk – Ellesmere Port – £26,000
An established and growing business based in Ellesmere Port is currently seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts professional looking to join a supportive and fast-paced working environment.
Key Responsibilities
*Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
*Matching, batching and coding invoices
*Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries
*Preparing payment runs
*Maintaining accurate financial records
*Liaising with suppliers and internal departments
*Supporting the wider finance team with administrative duties
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills
*Ability to work to deadlines in a busy environment
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and finance systems
