Location: Leeds
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
A growing multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint an Engineering Geologist to join their talented and close-knit team in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a friendly, collaborative environment where your contribution will be genuinely valued and where you’ll gain exposure to a broad range of geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects across the UK.
The company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality ground investigation and engineering solutions across residential, commercial, infrastructure and industrial developments. Due to continued project wins, they are looking for an enthusiastic Engineering Geologist who enjoys working within a supportive medium-sized consultancy where progression and technical development are encouraged.
The Role
*Supervising and logging ground investigations
*Soil and rock logging to current British Standards
*Preparing factual ground investigation reports
*Coordinating site works, subcontractors and laboratory testing
*Assisting with interpretative reporting and geotechnical assessments
*Supporting geotechnical and geoenvironmental project delivery
*Liaising with clients, contractors and design teams
*Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
Requirements
*Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or a related subject
*Previous consultancy experience preferred
*Strong understanding of ground investigation techniques
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*Full UK driving licence
*Motivated and team-oriented attitude
