Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
A leading specialised ground engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take the next step in their career within a well-established consultancy delivering major infrastructure, commercial and residential developments across the South East.
You will work on a wide range of technically challenging projects, managing site investigations, mentoring junior engineers and providing geotechnical design input from feasibility through to construction.
The Role
*Managing and supervising ground investigations across a var
*iety of sectors
*Producing factual and interpretative geotechnical reports
*Geotechnical design including foundations, retaining walls, slope stability and earthworks
*Liaising directly with clients, contractors and regulators
*Supporting and mentoring graduate and junior engineers
*Managing project budgets and ensuring delivery to programme
*Assisting with business development and client relationship management
Requirements
*Degree in Geology, Civil Engineering or a related subject
*Strong experience within a geotechnical consultancy environment
*Experience producing interpretative reports and geotechnical assessments
*Knowledge of Eurocode 7 and current UK standards
*Ability to manage projects independently
*Excellent communication and client-facing skills
*Chartered status or working towards chartership preferred
